Sunny Isles Beach

Often referred to as Florida’s Riviera, Sunny Isles Beach is a Miami seaside community with an international mix of residents. This well-maintained white sandy beach goes from one end of Sunny Isles to the other. There’s a pier, pavilion and boardwalk, restrooms, showers, beach volleyball, food, rentals and fishing.


Miami Beach – North

Locals as well as visitors frequent this northern stretch of Miami Beach. It's quieter than beaches to the south, but just as beautiful. Located near fast food restaurants and sidewalk cafes, visitors will find something to eat or drink after a long day of soaking up the sun, playing beach volleyball on the beach or just enjoying the ocean views.


Miami Beach – Central

Popular with joggers, this beach tends to be quieter and less crowded than South Beach. The stretch of white sand is located close to sidewalk cafes, bars, and concession stands that make Miami Beach a world famous tourist destination. 


South Beach

Miami's South Beach is exciting all year-round. South Beach is an international playground offering white-sands and turquoise waters, varied nightlife, colorful architecture and beautiful people from all over the world. Take a stroll down Lincoln Road for the best people watching in Miami or visit the eclectic mix of world-class boutiques, galleries and stores.


Haulover Park Beach

The 99-acre beach contains one of south Florida's most beautiful clothing-optional beaches and is recognized as one of the best nude beaches in the world. Situated north of central Miami Beach and located between the Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean, Haulover Beach Park has immaculate white sand shores, shaded picnic facilities, beautifully landscaped sand dunes, and concession stands. The beach is ideal for surfing as well as swimming.

The Diplomat Country Club

This highly acclaimed championship golf course is known for being one of the most scenic and also one of the most challenging South Florida golf courses. Its lush landscape is covered with more than 3,000 coconut and royal palm trees and banyans that are over half a century old. A unique feature of the layout is the abundance of par-5 holes, including one that stretches to 570 yards, making it one of the longest in the area.


The Club at Emerald Hills

A host site for the PGA Tour Doral and Honda Open Qualifiers, The Club at Emerald Hills, is a semi-private golf course designed by Charles Ankrom.  The course features 5 sets of tees for different skill levels and 1,117 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 74.6 and it has a slope rating of 142. 


Turnberry Isle Golf

The Turnberry Isle Golf Course is a popular destination for relaxation and high-end fun. The course hosts two Raymond Floyd-designed golf courses, the Soffer and the Miller courses. These courses offer 36 holes that will certainly test the skill of any avid golfer. As an official host to the NBC/ADT Golf Skills Challenge and the Stanford International Pro Am, the Turnberry Golf Course is definitely a world-class destination for the golfing enthusiast.


Miami Beach Golf Club

The highly regarded Miami Beach Golf Club is a historic course built in 1923. The 18-hole course features 6,903 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 73.0 and it has a slope rating of 127.


Hillcrest Golf Club

Hillcrest is a finely manicured golf course with upscale amenities that provide a high-class golf experience. Located in Hollywood, this 18-hole championship facility is open for public play. Hillcrest is located between Ft. Lauderdale and Miami and is known for its high quality of training and affordable rates. The challenging design features a terrain contoured by water hazards and mature trees that are playable for beginners, yet challenging for skilled players.

Oleta River State Park

Oleta River State Park is located on Miami’s Biscayne Bay, less than one mile from the Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort. The park is best known for many off-road bicycling trails, but also provides a variety of wonderful recreational activities. You can spend the whole day at Oleta River State Park enjoying fishing, camping, hiking, swimming, kayaking, mountain biking, and so much more. Want to just relax and take in the scenery?  There is a beautiful picnic pavilion with tables and grills and electricity available or enjoy the sunshine on the 1,200 foot sandy beach.  The choice is yours.


Everglades National Park  

The Everglades became a national park in 1934 because of its unique subtropical eco-system and the habitat it provides for endangered species.  At these renowned wetlands the wildlife is the main attraction.  A great place to see alligators, visitors may also see the Florida Panther, West Indian Manatee, as well as many other types of birds, mammals, fish, reptiles and insects.  This incredible park covers 1.5 million acres in Southern Florida and also offers many activities including, fishing, airboat tours, canoeing, and camping.  Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort is approximately one hour from the Shark Valley Entrance, which is the closest access to the Everglades.   


The Shark Visitor Center

This section of the Everglades, known as the “True Everglades”, is a 100 mile stretch of a fresh water ecosystem.  This stretch of water goes from Lake Okeechobee to the Gulf of Mexico. 


Shark Valley Trails

The Shark Valley Trails all begin at the Visitor Center. Otter Hammock Cave trail is a rough limestone path through the tropical hardwood forest and is one-half mile round trip. The Bobcat Boardwalk Trail is a wheelchair accessible, one mile round trip self-guided nature walk. The Tram Road – 15 miles round trip - is a flat, wide, paved road, ideal for strolling or bike riding. Bike rentals are available. Guided tram tours use this loop road. You can make arrangements to join a group at the visitor center. Halfway along the road is an observation tower, which offers panoramic views of the area.


Cape Florida Lighthouse

The Cape Florida Lighthouse is an amazing landmark, owned by the state.  Located in Bill Saggs State Park on the southernmost tip of Key Biscayne, this 95-foot, white brick tower welcomes visitors all year round.

Hard Rock Café

After more than 40 years, the Hard Rock Café restaurant chain is still rocking and rolling.  Many prefer dining al fresco and taking in the views of the bay, though the dim interior manages to light up with old guitars, autographed photo prints and other bits of hard rock memorabilia.  Guests can dine on everything from nachos, wings and potato skins to burgers, salads and hefty plates of chicken. 


News Café

If you want a laid-back, yet trendy spot on South Beach, the News Café is the place. The 24-hour café, bar and newsstand in the Art Deco district is one of the places to see and be seen along Ocean Drive. You can’t go wrong with whatever you order on the extensive menu, while watching the international and beautiful crowds pass by on their way to and from the beach, which is right across the street.


Mambo Café
